Teeth Whitening

White teeth are a symbol of health and vitality. One of the most important aspects of aesthetic smile is tooth color. It is possible to whiten the teeth effectively in a short time with professional belaching.

Professional teeth whitening begins with consultation with the dentist. Whitening treatments are needed after a number of factors, including the root cause of tooth discoloration. One of the most critical aspects of an aesthetically pleasing smile is tooth color.

The dentist covers your gums with a gel and hardens the gel with ultraviolet light. This is called the gingival barrier and protects your gums from bleaching chemicals during the whitening process. During the bleaching process, the dentist applies the whitening gel to your teeth. This gel can penetrate the porous outer layer of the teeth and break down the stain compounds using a chemical reaction called oxidation. After the whitening gel is applied, the efficiency of the process is increased by applying a high-power laser that accelerates the whitening process.

The protocol is completed by performing three applications containing a 15-minute whitening gel in one session. At the end of the application, the whitening gel is removed with cotton rolls, the tooth surface is washed with plenty of water and the gingival barrier is cleaned.

The change in tooth color can turn into an obstacle that affects one’s self-image, self-confidence, and physical attractiveness. Cosmetic dental problems can profoundly affect people’s social interactions, environmental adaptations, personal relationships, job opportunities, and quality of life.
